Cue — Privacy Policy

Effective 11 September 2026 · Cue is made by Elihav Chemouni (echcomp.com)

The short version

Cue does not collect your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party software in the app. Your scripts and your recordings stay on your device.

What stays on your device

Speech recognition

When you turn on voice-follow, Cue uses Apple's speech recognition to scroll your script in time with your voice and to place your captions. It runs on your device wherever your language supports that; otherwise Apple processes the audio. Cue itself never receives, stores or transmits that audio. Apple's handling is described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Camera and microphone

Cue asks for camera and microphone access only to record your video. Access can be changed at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Cue receives only a confirmation from Apple that a subscription is active; it never sees your payment details. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

What Cue does not do

Children

Cue is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
